We’ve Seen This Before: The Game Plan
We’ve protested, we’ve petitioned, we’ve made the news.
Now it’s time to finish the fight.
Bend the Arc Jewish Action’s We’ve Seen This Before campaign to stop Donald Trump and his hateful agenda is entering its final phase. Join us now and together we’ll make a direct impact in this election and send a clear message about American Jews’ commitment to fighting hate and violence in politics.
Here are four ways you can take action leading up to the election:
1) Join us on September 29 for our next day of action: “The Book of Life”
Days before we begin the High Holidays — a time when Jews ask to be written into the Book of Life — activists in our community will work together online and in cities across the country to affirm the right of all Americans to live free from fear of political violence. Join the day of action as we inscribe the names of those communities and individuals most threatened by Donald Trump’s hateful agenda into our own Books of Life.
2) Travel to Florida to engage the Jewish community leading up to the election
Half a million Jewish voters live in Florida, the most critical swing state of this election. Throughout September and October, we’ll be welcoming supporters who can make it to Florida to help us talk to the Jewish community about the stakes of this election and get them involved. Bagels and talking points included.
3) Get Out the Vote in key swing states across the country October 30 - 31
If you do just one thing this election, do this - help us get out the vote in swing states across the country. Travel to Nevada, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Colorado, or Ohio to turn progressive voters out to the polls in the states that will decide this election. Travel with fellow Bend the Arc members and experience what it’s like to do critical, high-impact turnout work alongside fellow Jews and allies working from common values of equality and justice. Ride our chartered buses from San Francisco, Los Angles, New York City and other locations, or set up rideshares, carpools and caravans in other parts of the country with our help. We’ll provide the messaging and targeting you need to maximize your impact.
4) Share your thoughts on our next campaign call
Join us on Tuesday, August 23 at 8 pm EST (5 pm PST) to discuss these tactics, share your feedback, and meet other fellow campaign supporters.
Thank you. Now, help us spread the word.
Will you ask you friends to sign up, too? If thousands of us raise our voices together in support, we can maximize our impact and send a clear message about the Jewish commitment to fighting hate and violence in politics.
