Friday, April 28th: Stand up to Jeff Sessions on Long Island

We’ve just learned that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is coming to Long Island to criminalize our immigrant neighbors.

Sessions is using recent tragedies in Central Islip to justify his hateful, anti-immigrant agenda, which includes recent attempts to strip funding from sanctuary cities.

We refuse to let our communities be divided while our nation’s chief law enforcement officer attempts to capitalize on our neighbors’ pain to scapegoat immigrant families—that’s why we’re showing up with our partners tomorrow for an emergency rally to protest Sessions’ visit.

None of our communities can be safe while the most vulnerable among us are under attack—true safety comes from our commitment to stand with and protect each other.

Tomorrow, we’re coming together to say no to Sessions’ hateful policies that criminalize immigrant communities and tear families apart.
